One statewide program, twelve local guides
Pennsylvania runs a single medical marijuana program through the Department of Health. The $50 annual fee, the 24 qualifying conditions, the 90-day supply limit and the ban on smoking apply the same way in Erie as in Philadelphia. No city or county issues its own card.
Each guide below covers what is local: the county, the nearby cities, and anything that genuinely differs, such as decriminalized possession in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. None of them names individual dispensaries. For current locations, use the Department's official list, which our dispensary guide links and explains.
If your town is not listed
The rules are the same wherever you live in Pennsylvania. Start with the application guide, and if the nearest certifying office is far away, read how online evaluations work under Act 44 of 2021. Physicians can certify patients through real-time audio or video, which takes geography out of the first step.
Need a physician certification?
Online evaluations are available for Pennsylvania residents. Code DRWDY85872 takes 5% off. The physician, not the booking service, decides whether you are certified.

This page explains Pennsylvania law and Department of Health guidance in general terms; it is not medical or legal advice, and only a registered physician can certify a patient.
