mmj card pa is an independent guide to the Pennsylvania medical marijuana program. We do not evaluate patients, we employ no clinicians and we cannot certify or recommend anyone. When a reader follows one of our buttons to an evaluation service and books, we are paid for the referral. This page explains the arrangement.
The one company that pays us
The "start", "apply" and "renew" buttons on this site go to a telehealth company that connects patients with state-licensed practitioners. Those links carry our referral tag. If you book after following one, that company pays us a commission. You are not charged more for it, and the referral code DRWDY85872 takes 5% off the evaluation price.
We take no money from dispensaries, sell no advertising and publish no sponsored posts. Every
affiliate link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source, and a disclosure banner
sits at the top of every page.
What the commission does not change
Fees, limits and rules on this site come from Pennsylvania law and from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Where the state and this site disagree, the state is right; tell us and we will correct the page. Any practitioner who is allowed to qualify patients in Pennsylvania can do it, including your own doctor, so you never have to use the service we link to.
What we are not
- Not a medical practice. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
- Not a HIPAA covered entity. We collect no medical questionnaires and hold no patient records.
- Not a state agency. We cannot issue, check or speed up any state approval.
- Not the decision maker. Only the practitioner who sees you decides whether you qualify.
FTC
We disclose this because the Federal Trade Commission requires material connections between an endorser and a seller to be disclosed clearly. See the FTC's Endorsement Guides. We publish no testimonials or ratings, because we have no patients of our own.
Questions
Write to [email protected]. Questions about an appointment, payment or refund go to the evaluation service; we cannot see them.
